Default Movies - Best Film of 2008?

Anyone have any opinions? I personally believe that Iron Man was the best. I get so entertained every time that I watch it.

Wow... really? Didn't critics like bash that movie?

Oh, and I'm changing mine to Wall-E.

Eh, I don't really listen to what the critics have to say. They bash every single movie I have ever liked (though I think Little Miss Sunshine was received well, with awards and all).

All I know is that Step Brothers is my favorite movie. I really like John C. Reilly.

I didn't really like Wall-E. I was really hyped up to see it (thinking it would be so awesome), and I saw it at the drive-in theater. However, I found that it was too... ahh I forget the word... it was basically too much of a story that was meant to teach a lesson (don't rely on technology, mankind is a bunch of lazy fatties, we're polluting the earth to oblivion). Kind of like Happy Feet and the whole environmental craze. Sorry if you don't know what I'm talking about, LOL. I don't mind stories that teach a lesson, but it's annoying when they seem of a 'child brainwashing' nature.

Brainwashing? LOL I love how WALL-E had probably the best love story that I'd ever seen (I cried like four times during the movie) without any real dialogue. That's impressive.

Oh yeah... the Wall-E and Eva were so cute... the fat people were just annoying though.

Haha, I shamelessly loved Step Brothers, too! I watched it with my boyfriend and we cracked up for the longest time.

I think the best movies last year were Tropic Thunder, Be Kind Rewind and Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

My favorite indies were The Wackness and Paranoid Park.

I couldn't choose just one...

Aww, I LOVED Wall-E! Thought it was absolutely brilliant.
I have to say, I thought The Dark Knight was fantastic. Kept me on the edge of my seat and was just fab.
I also recently liked Underworld 3 (although I haven't seen the first two) and though I was unsure of it to begin with, by the end of Seven Pounds - I think it's a film EVERYONE should see.
