pink-pistol.net is old, like I said, but there are some perks to being hosted there. For one, you'd have decent search engine rankings and second, you know that you won't wake up one day with all your files and hard work gone forever because I will never just abandon the domain. It's my baby! You'll get: - Your own sub-domain and directory. (you.pink-pistol.net or pink-pistol.net/you) - 30 MB of space (more when/if you need it). - Your own sub-domain and directory. - Enough bandwidth to support all your traffic. - An email forwarder (you@pink-pistol.net) - CGI/PHP/MYSQL - unlimited databases - Your own private FTP account and password. - A kickass hostess. Me, of course ![]() http://pink-pistol.net/hosting Last edited by Ashley; 02-20-2009 at 08:47 PM. |

Ashley, I just wanted to comment on your post, about your method of paid webhosting. I too am a domain owner (I have a reseller) and have been looking for a way to accept different means of payment, without the cost of some billing systems, like the ones Chris recommended in the tagboard on the forum's main page. Your form is precisely what I've been looking for to achieve my goal of adding paid hosting to my domain. This is a feat fully new to me and to be able to do it has me very excited.
I do have a question though, I noticed you add a free domain to your packages, like I said above, I'm new to hosting domains, so I'm like a baby fish in this retrospect. How do you do that, is there a certain place you register them through precisely, or just register the domain for the client at any registrar (like godaddy or something) and if the client has a name already just knock that 6 off so their not technically paying for something they already have? |
