The new Pick-Me!

As you can see from the picture above, we’re having a well deserved cup of tea, as we’ve just uploaded the new design version of Pick-Me.net!!

We could have cracked open a nice bottle of bubbily, but someone forgot to buy some from the store, so we’ve settled for a nice cup of tea (and a few biscuits – not pictured!!)

The new design of Pick-Me includes some cosmetic fixes, and we’ve also re-worked some coding, for example, the hostee listings have been reworked to include some coding that previously wasn’t included on the site. The Hosts listings have also been recoded too.

The Future of Pick-Me!
The current Pick-Me site (the newly designed one) we are calling internally as “PM v2.0″. We’re already planning the release of “PM v3.0″ which will be entirely recoded and additional features adding. Some of the features in the pipeline are:


improved listing criterias
ability to search certain criterias from hosts/hostee listings
ability to message host/hostee via the website
ability to easily remove listings
integrated login with the forums and listing edits
and much more ideas in the pipeline


The features above are all planned, and we’ll be working hard over the next coming months to make ‘PM v3.0″ the bestest Pick-Me version for miles around.

If you have any suggestions that you’d live to see in version 3.0 of Pick-Me, please let us know either by contacting us, or leaving a thread on the message boards in the Bright-Sparks forum.

We hope that the new fresh design will encourage more people to visit Pick-Me!

Hopefully, the next generation of Pick-Me (version 3.0) will improve this site a hella lot more, to make it better for you guys.

Even though we've only just released what we call version 2.0, we're pretty excited at PM HQ to be embarking on PM v3.0, which will be a massive recoding of the entire site to include better backend administration tools, and even better front-end tools for our valued users to use.

I like the new I'm one person who frequented the old PM, and honestly made uberly awesome friend, whom I met through old PM's tagboard, dear friends that even to this day I cherish deeply.

Are there aspects of readding some form of a tagboard to the main site?

We've kicked around the idea of tagboards, however we feel that they take away from the forums which we are trying to build up.
